However, all christians are repairer of the breach and need to contine to repair the breaches because God is depending on us.donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02493951107643578333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6600545650924022358.post-70341247793708633222009-01-19T22:08:00.000-06:002009-01-19T22:08:00.000-06:00It seems like everybody has been reading about thi...It seems like everybody has been reading about this. I've been reading Jesus Wants to Save Christians and it talks about the New Exodus and how God uses Moses to deliver them to a new Exodus and a new humanity. Once you really break this stuff down it becomes totally different than the story we've been told or read in Sunday School and it becomes significant to our lives and how Big Our God actually is.

Good stuff man! I'm ready to learn more about this God who delivers the oppressed and gives liberation to the un-liberated.NickDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00594142356026685653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6600545650924022358.post-42108530468655630312009-01-13T11:12:00.000-06:002009-01-13T11:12:00.000-06:00wow. i love this. it just confirms for me what God...wow. i love this. it just confirms for me what God has set me out to do: to repair and restore the broken with everything i know. I love the part that you bolded. That is sooo my heart! Also, I was reading in Exodus where the Israelites are complaining about--well, what weren't they complaining about--and they asked Moses to pray to make everything...God sent vicious vipers. Then they asked Him to take it away, but He said no. He says something to the extent of "why would I take this away when it makes you talk to me?!" I love that!! God pretty much lets us go through hard things because we talk to Him. It just reminds me that God is in control. He knows exactly what He's doing. But we know the phrase "God wont give you anything you cant handle" I like to add "without Him" to the end of that. Anyways, this is fantastic and speaks to my heart right now. thanks for the blog chad.
laurenlauren.mosherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08461246427366752870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6600545650924022358.post-50132548251733710262009-01-13T03:18:00.000-06:002009-01-13T03:18:00.000-06:00I was just reading about the Israelites in Exodus,...I was just reading about the Israelites in Exodus, and it's one of those things where someone like myself who was raised in the church never really took this story straight to heart. It was as if subconsciously I had stowed it away as just some story, but reading it further and thinking of all the events that took place leading up to their freedom and Moses speaking to Pharaoh as he did... it's nearly unbelievable. A sea, a HUGE body of water literally parted!?
You can't make this stuff up, our God is BIG. And I'm with you, I want to know this God; our God.I Am All Grown Uphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13858671857292049686noreply@blogger.com
